Synopsis
Mr. Goldfarb is Research Assistant Professor and Director of Research in the Department of Health Policy at Jefferson Medical College. Mr. Goldfarb also serves as Director of Ambulatory Care Performance Improvement for Jefferson University Physicians. Among Mr. Goldfarb’s research interests are managed care, care for the underserved, quality measurement and improvement, economic evaluation of health care technology, and promoting value-based purchasing of health benefits.Mr. Goldfarb co-directs the College for Advanced Management of Health Benefits, an innovative national training program for employers. In previous positions, Mr. Goldfarb was Executive Director of MEDISYS QI, Inc., a quality improvement consulting firm, and Vice President of Health Services for Healthcare Management Alternatives, Inc. (now Americhoice). Mr. Goldfarb is an Adjunct Senior Fellow of the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics at Penn, and he completed all PhD course work in the Wharton School’s health care management program.
